Golf Shack Founder Bob Polivka envisioned a different type of golf store, and in 2000 we opened our current facility in Rockford, IL. We’re the only facility of our kind: retail golf store, driving range and full-service restaurant. We continue to be an integral part of Rockford and a destination spot for surrounding communities.

You’ll see our customers browsing our store before enjoying lunch or dinner at Garrett’s Restaurant & Bar, our award-winning restaurant. The outdoor dining patio is located on our driving range, so you can have a drink and appetizer while you hit some balls. The kids can hit a bucket of balls while you relax on the patio. Our range was designed for everyone, and we notice many couples having a “date night” on our patio and range. We’re been the starting point for numerous bachelor parties and guys-night-out.
Garrett’s Private Room is used by our customers for birthday parties, bridal/baby showers, business meetings, holiday parties, and other special events. Our entire facility is available for guests attending a private event. Many businesses have hosted unforgettable events with us!
